Who we are

Rapel is a private manufacturing company established in 1994 at Rahau-Sebes, county of Alba, Romania.

The company was set up in an area with a long-standing tradition in leather to manufacture and export leather-goods of the highest quality.

Today, the company is 10 years old, has 120 employees and makes accessories from natural leather, synthetics and combined materials for men and women in a factory of 2700 square meters.

Transilvania has an industrial tradition dating back to the 19th century, the first tannery being set up by the Saxons of german descent some 150 years ago.
